the start

After recently moving in with my better half, we have both started to collaborate on the space and making it our own. Here are some of the hallway images I have pinned that we love to love.

Diptyque masterclass in fragrance

An evening held for 26, a nice round intimate number. Held in the Heritage Suite at Liberty a real special affair. Not really knowing what to expect after receiving a warm welcome and a glass if champagne settled me in nicely. The area manager conducting the evening teaching of all the wonderful ingredients and whimsical stories behind the fabulous French scents of Diptyque. I left with a real understanding of the concept behind the brand- this being for me family and exploring. Stories of grandmothers and their violets to stories of travelling on the orient express. A really very enjoyable evening, one of which has cemented my love and passion for the brand I have always loved. here are some snaps of the evening.

Introducing Volutes made from intense Iris and Tobacco- smells warm and wonderful. Smell enhanced with a iinspired by childhood memories of sailing from French port of Marseille to Saigon. Available in a smokey, spiced sweet laced EDT in the brands newly famous oval shaped bottles. Notice the festive blue vessel.

Tickets for the masterclass cost £35- of which was redeemable against any purchase Diptyque that day. I purchased L'Eau- an unforgettable spicy fragrance. All guests left with an exciting goodie bag!! can wait to go to the next one!!!

Funny Girl

It was until recently that i watched 'FUNNY GIRL' staring a young Barbara Steisand filmed in the late 60'. I LOVED it and all about it. The clothes, the humour, the sets and most of all watching Babs. here are some snaps of my favourite scene. A scene featuring the 'Ziegfeld Follies' and Babs character pulling a practical joke- appearing on stage with a fake bump. Not to be missed.
